The Flower Stand
A few weeks over on Instagram, I started working on a small Park area for the city to add some much needed greenery.
Although this area is being changed (and possibly moved) There is definitely going to still be a park area in the City.
With that in mind, I thought a small florist stall may be a good addition to the park... I only have a handful of spare parts in friends colours, but I came up with a small simple, corner circle design.
There isn't much room in the booth, but a minifig can squeeze in there and sit on the small stool when not serving customers.
There's room on the counter to place a drink for the female attendant, the green bucket holds scissors representing pruning shears.
The front of the store has 2 boxes of flowers in various colours so you can buy the perfect flower for the one you love!
Haunted House & Graveyard
Also this week I have been incorporating the Haunted House into the city in a primary position, right in front of the newly arranged modular row.
The first part of this re-build involved clearing the space.. I had allocated 2 base plates for my planned build.
Once I had measured how much space I needed for the House, I started adding elements from the Hidden Side Graveyard, I wanted this area walled off so I began building around it using grey masonry bricks (interspersed with the odd other colour to make it look a bit more ramshackle) There are also a couple of additional Gravestones I've MOC'd up.
The finished graveyard has it's own entrance gate, a cobbled pathway and the haunted tree from the hidden side graveyard is in place too.
I added a couple of sparse looking trees over the entry way, and staged a scene of the Hidden side groundskeeper being chased by a Zombie from the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine set.
To the left of the house is a paved driveway, I made sure this was large enough to park Lord Vampyre's Hearse In. The wall continues here too.
I can't remember which set this black lamppost came in but it's the only one I've got. So I added a double sided clock to it and it fits perfect on the corner of this wall.
And here is the wide shot of the whole scene, I added another cobbled pathway up to the main door, and another tree in the yard. The finished scene is pretty close to what I pictured this area being and I'm very happy with it.
And lastly, the rear of the building which blends in almost perfectly with the wall around the whole area. Next I need to dig out the rest of the Monster Fighters collection and add them into the build.

Thanks for looking as always....
